1. Who we are

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Commentful website and services ("Service"), operated by [Company Legal Name] ("Commentful", "we", "us"). By purchasing a founding membership or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

2. Pre-launch status

Commentful is currently in development and early access. The Service described on our website is not yet generally available. Timelines, features, and screenshots shown on the website are illustrative and may change before and after launch. Any launch dates we communicate are good-faith estimates, not guarantees.

3. Founding member offer

The founding member offer gives you: (a) a discounted subscription price that remains locked for as long as your subscription stays continuously active; (b) early access to the Service as it becomes available; and (c) priority support and input on our roadmap. Founding member spots are limited and offered on a first-come, first-served basis.

Your subscription is billed monthly via Stripe from the date of purchase. If you cancel and later resubscribe, the founding price may no longer be available.

4. Refunds and cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time. As a founding member, you are covered by our zero-risk guarantee: we will refund all payments you have made, in full and without questions, if you request a refund at any time before the public launch of the Service or within 30 days after it. To request a refund, email hello@commentful.co.

After the guarantee window, cancellation stops future billing but payments already made are non-refundable except where required by law.

5. Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your card details. Prices are stated in USD and exclude any applicable taxes, which may be added at checkout depending on your location.

6. Acceptable use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in compliance with the terms and policies of the platforms it connects to (including Meta's Terms of Service, Commerce and Advertising Policies). You are responsible for the content your connected accounts publish, including replies generated by the Service under your configuration and approval settings.

7. Relationship to Meta

Commentful is an independent product. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Meta Platforms, Inc. Facebook and Instagram are trademarks of Meta Platforms, Inc. Your use of Meta platforms remains subject to Meta's own terms, and we are not responsible for actions Meta may take with respect to your accounts.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that it will produce any particular business outcome, revenue, or advertising performance. Examples and figures shown on our website are illustrative.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the amounts you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, or data.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify subscribers by email before the changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
